Spin? Art. explores the ways in which artists reference and incorporate the act of “play” through process, intention or form.  The game and challenge-oriented approach to each artist’s practice, when combined with elementary shapes and primary colors, feels at once carefree and jubilant, eerie and calculated.  These artists shrewdly use humor to both examine a longing to reconnect with intimate childhood memories and experiences, and to broadly address our cultural relationship with nostalgia.
