ONE AND DONE at LaunchPad

ONE AND DONE

February 21 – March 11, 2013

LaunchPad – 721 Franklin Ave, Brooklyn

curated by Will Hutnick and Polly Shindler

We are pleased to announce the exhibition “ONE AND DONE”, a group show that explores two sides of seclusion: the lone wolf syndrome and the expanse of the cosmos.  The lone wolf is either cast out of the pack or opts to go his own way as do humans and image makers.  All pieces in this exhibition exude selfhood, if not solitude–being alone, if not lonely.   The artists explore the autonomy of existing in the world and our city, the separation we choose and the isolation we don’t.  The works display the magnitude of our surroundings and the smallness of our corporeal being.

Featuring the work of: Austin Eddy, Angela Jann, Matthew Craven, Benjamin Edmiston, Renee Delosh, Brian Willmont, Trish Tillman, Charlotte Hallberg, Andrew Traub, Jason Stopa, Travis Iurato, Gail Quagliata and Loney Abrams
